Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the FoodsPlans application ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. What Data We Collect

When you register and use the App, we may collect: name and email address via Google OAuth; profile photo (if provided through Google); data you enter manually: meals, categories, weekly meal plans, grocery lists; subscription information (plan type, activation date); technical data: device type, operating system, app version, interface language; photos from your device gallery (if you grant access, used for meal images); and anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to identify you and save your data between sessions; to provide App features: meal planning, lists, weekly plans; to enable the "Share List" feature — sharing and subscribing to lists via unique codes; to process subscriptions and provide access to premium features; and to improve the App based on anonymous analytics.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure Supabase servers with encryption and Row Level Security (RLS) access controls. Some data may also be cached locally on your device to ensure smooth operation when the server is temporarily unavailable. Local data is synchronized with the cloud database automatically.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except for the following services used to operate the App: Google OAuth — for authentication (subject to Google Privacy Policy); Supabase — cloud database for storing your data; Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (a tracking tag is integrated into the App); Apple App Store / Google Play — for subscription payments and app distribution.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and complies with applicable security standards. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID).

Each list in the App can be assigned a unique code by its owner. The owner can share this code with other users, who can then subscribe to the list or copy it. Only the list owner can generate and share the code. You can unsubscribe from a shared list at any time in the App settings.

6. Photo Access

The App may request access to your device's photo gallery to allow you to add images to your meals. Photos are uploaded to our servers only when you choose to attach them. We do not access your gallery without your explicit permission.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

All subscription payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Payment processing is governed by the respective platform's terms and privacy policy.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and all associated data directly in the App; and withdraw your consent to data processing. For additional privacy requests, contact us at admin@foodsplans.com.

9. Children's Data

The App is not intended for persons under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you become aware of such a case, please contact us.

10. International Users

The App is available in Ukraine and internationally. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in accordance with this Policy. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the App, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our servers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
