Sauerkraut stewed with apples

Ingredients & Recipe

Slice onion, chop garlic. Slice apple, sprinkle with lime. Squeeze out sauerkraut. Fry onion in oil until soft, add cumin and ginger. Add cabbage and apple, pour in juice, simmer covered 5-7 min. Add bay and pepper, simmer 5 min. Remove bay, add honey and garlic, salt, cook 3 min.

Ingredients:
sauerkraut – 300g, apple – 1 pc, apple juice – 120ml, onion – 1 pc, garlic – 2 cloves, bay leaf – 3 pcs, allspice – 5 pcs, lime – Β½, honey – 1 tsp, cumin – Β½ tsp, ginger – ΒΌ tsp, oil – 1 tbsp, salt – to taste
